Sadly, we made the difficult decision to close our brick and mortar store this month.....one of those good news-bad news situations. I have loved having the store...having great handmade vendors and wonderful customers....but letting go of it will give me more time for home, creativity and such. A closing date has not been set yet. We'll be having a 20% SALE on the following dates, so stop by for early pick'ns! Grapevine Trees & Scentsible Scents Candles are 10% off, everything else is 20%!
Friday, May 29 ~ Saturday, May 30 from 11 - 4 p.m.
Friday, June 5 ~ Saturday, June 6 from 11 - 4 p.m.
My Mom and I will then transition to selling online, and I will continue to peddle larger primitive wares from home. Once we transition to selling online you can continue to purchase our wares through eBay. Jailhouse Primitives' eBay Seller Name is "jailhouse*primitives" and my Mom's Seller Name is "mamawscozycupboard". More will be available online for purchase as we finalize the closing of the shop.
I will continue to post on Jailhouse Primitives' Blog to keep you abreast. You can continue purchase your Scentsible Scents Candles at the shop and they will be available, as usual, on the Jailhouse Primitives' Blog. You can continue to contact me via email or the shop phone number.
We would like to thank you all for your business over the past 4 years. It has been a great experience and a pleasure to do business with you. Thank you for letting us share our love of primitives with you and for you sharing your passion and knowledge with us.
The best part of owning the shop has been the people we have had the chance to meet. We know of no other industry where such strong ties are built with their customers, it truly has been special. Stories were told and friendships born. We have been blessed many times over. We have memories galore that will last a lifetime. Things that make us laugh, and things that make us cry, things that just plain make us wonder - all part of the wonderful experience that has been Jailhouse Primitives.
Be encouraged to continue shopping with us and making memories. Until we meet again. . . .

It's always sad to see a great prim store like yours close but some things are more important. I know you will miss it but having more time for your family must come first...I'm glad your blog will still be here:)

It is very sad that you have to close your beloved business.I know very much how you feel right now as I too closed my store on May 8th this year due to the hike in business costs.I am continuing online although it is taking time to adjust to not goingout each day.Just hang in there and remember,when one door closes,another one opens.My very best wishes for the future.
